About the role:
The Trainee Project Administrator is responsible for supporting the sales manager in the administration, coordination, planning, and control of projects.
Under the guidance of our experienced sales manager, you will develop a range of skills and knowledge to help you succeed, including:
• Monitor and action emails Inbox, allocating and chasing emails until they are completed
• Telephone inquiry support (internally & externally)
• Organise any site induction, compliances or prerequisites identified in the Project Initiation
• Procurement of plant, equipment, materials & hire equipment required to maintain project objectives and schedules
• Planning for short and long-term projects involving daily communications with engineers regarding progress
• Providing supplier purchase order numbers to engineers, updating POs once in receipt of equipment & off-hiring. Chase suppliers when necessary to ensure deliveries, report any potential delays or shortfalls to the SM and find alternative suppliers if required.
• Escalating any safety concerns
• Ensure all relevant H&S documents are issued & acknowledged via Tensh (Method Statement with appropriate Risk Assessments)
• Write risk assessments and method statements with training
• Escalate projects through direct communication with the SM, if the necessary H&S actions have not been completed before work commences.
• Collate information, process & issue O&M Manuals and other project-related documentation/commissioning sheets.
• Update FGas logs and asset lists
• Update customers and collect feedback once complete

• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
• A high level of attention to detail
• Good organisational skills
• Excellent time management skills, with the ability to work to deadlines
• Proficient user of MS Office in particular Word, Excel and Outlook
• Further IT skills by using our service management software
